In order to raise money for the NAME.SPACE v. ICANN legal fund, Paul Garrin is exhibiting for the first time his black and white photography works from 1980 - 1984, and conducting a silent auction to sell prints that include images of Nam June Paik and Joseph Beuys, Velvet Underground's NICO, and portraits of friends, moments, and scenes from nightlife, alternative music, and the City. The exhibit and silent auction is on view at the new MAX FISH at 120 Orchard Street from Sunday February 8, through Friday February 27, 2015. Hours: 5:30 pm to 4:00 am. Special reception on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 7 pm till 10 pm.

In addition to the photographs from his archives, Paul will also be previewing (for sale) some bigger ticket items from a new digital video art edition series that celebrates his long time collaboration with the late video art pioneer Nam June Paik, in anticipation of the 10th anniversary of his passing (January 2006).

3. In your email subject line, please state item's catalog number and title of work.
4. State your bid amount.
5. Provide your name, address and telephone number.
6. Deadline: Midnight, Feb 20th, 2015.
7. All winners will be notified by email by Feb 22, 2015.

Oral arguments in the domain name antitrust lawsuit NAME.SPACE v ICANN are scheduled for March 6, 2015 in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in California. This lawsuit will impact the future of the Internet -- whether only profit-driven large corporations dominate, or whether citizens can build own and operate Internet infrastructure as a social business and create a public good.
